Pregnancy: Gemcitabine injection is unsafe to use during pregnancy because it has harmful effects on the developing baby.
Consult your doctor. Alcohol: Avoid alcohol while taking this medication it because may cause excessive drowsiness. Driving: Gemcitabine injection may side effects dizziness or sleepiness and it may alter your ability to drive. Kidney: Consult your doctor before using this medication in patients with kidney disease.
Advise the patient to go for regular monitoring of kidney functions tests before and during this treatment. Liver: Consult your doctor because of the limited information available on the use of gemcitabine injection in patients with liver disease. .
