Asthafen 10 Tablets

Babies: Not applicable. Lactating mothers: It is contraindicated.
Studies have shown evidence of medicine in breast milk. It causes toxicity to the baby.
Pregnancy: It is contraindicated in pregnancy. Need to seek doctors’ advice.
Driving: Asthafen tablet may decrease alertness, affects vision and may cause dizziness and sleep. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Alcohol: Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking asthafen tablets as it causes severe liver damage and dizziness. Kidney: Asthafen tablets should be used in caution with patients suffering from kidney disease.
You may require a dose adjustment and regular monitoring of kidney function. Seek a doctor’s advice before using this medication.
Liver: Asthafen tablets should be used in caution with patients suffering from liver disease. You may require a dose adjustment and regular monitoring of liver function.

The asthafen tablet is an antihistamine that works by blocking the effects of histamine, which is naturally involved in allergic reactions and reduces inflammation in the lungs. So, blocking the development of histamine helps to reduce the symptoms of various allergies.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. If it is near the time of the next dose, then skip the missed dose.
Take the prescribed dose on your regular time daily. Don't double the dose to catch up with the missed dose..

• Asthafen + Glyburide: Concurrent use may increase the risk or severity of thrombocytopenia • Asthafen + Levonordefrin: Concurrent use may increase the therapeutic efficacy of levonordefrin • Asthafen + Norepinephrine: Concurrent use may increase the therapeutic efficacy of norepinephrine • Asthafen + Repaglinide: Concurrent use may increase the risk or severity of thrombocytopenia • Asthafen + Benzphetamine: Concurrent use may decrease the sedative and stimulatory activities of asthafen • Asthafen + Amphetamine: Concurrent use may decrease the sedative and stimulatory activities of asthafen • Asthafen + Metformin: Concurrent use may increase the risk or severity of thrombocytopenia.
