Babies: It does not apply to babies. Lactating mother: It is safe to use this medication during breastfeeding.
Human studies have shown that this drug may not pass into breastmilk and may not harm the baby. Pregnancy: Tranexamic acid, the mefenamic acid tablet, is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Some limited human and animal studies suggest that this drug may cause harmful effects on developing babies. Consult your doctor.
Alcohol: It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking this medication. Driving: Tranexamic acid, mefenamic acid tablets may reduce alertness, affect your vision and make you feel sleepy or dizzy.
Do not drive if these symptoms occur. Liver: It is safe to use this medication in patients with liver disease.
Dose adjustment is not required. Consult your doctor.
Kidney: This medication should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. You may require dose adjustment.
