This lotion is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age.

Pregnancy: Octamop lotion is unsafe during pregnancy, as this medicine shows harmful effects on the developing baby.
Driving: Octamop lotion is unsafe to use while driving, as this medicine can make you dizzy and have other side effects that make you less alert.
These side effects could affect your ability to drive.
Alcohol: You are recommended not to consume alcohol along with octamop lotion to avoid unpleasant effects.
Alcohol can make you dizzier.
Kidney: Octamop lotion to be taken with caution, especially if you have a history of kidney diseases.

If you miss an application, apply it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next application, ignore the missed dose and go back to using it as you would normally..
• Octamop lotion is prescribed along with uv-a rays for the treatment of vitiligo and psoriasis.
• Wear uva-absorbing, wrap-around sunglasses and cover skin or use a sunblock (spf 15) for the 24 hours following treatment with octamop lotion.
• Do not use perfumes, aftershave, deodorants, or other cosmetics and toiletries while using octamop lotion as they make your skin even more sensitive, causing blistering of your skin.
• Use extra caution for at least 48 hours following each treatment.
After each treatment, cover your skin for at least 8 hours by wearing protective clothing.
• Never use octamop lotion more than the prescribed dose as it may cause burning or blistering of your skin after exposure to uv light.
• Do not use it if you have a history of melanoma or certain other types of skin cancer.
